Hello! I embarked on my woodturning venture in 1997. I spent the first few years in experimentation; eventually, I had the chance to take courses with André Martel, who taught me cutting techniques and an understanding of the qualities of wood. At this stage I realized that woodturning could become a means of expression for both the turner and the living medium of wood. I have attended various international symposiums, where meetings with other turners and exposure to their work greatly influenced my own.

For me, woodturning is a question of balance: -balance with the forest, because the wood I use comes from sick or dead trees, stumps, and even firewood... -balance between the turning piece and the force exerted on the tool... -balance between the movements of the body and the shapes that emerge... -balance between the curve of the wood and its profile...
-balance of volume in space. The pieces presented here are all unique and original. The bowls are finished with a food-safe oil extremely resistant to water and stain.
